To save tacking onto a long-resolved thread with "me too", I've started a new post for you 🙂

First do you have a TiVo or a V6 box - if you're not sure, check here

Is the box slow in general use, or when you're doing anything specific with it? In which case, what?

I have my suspicions as to where this might go, but won't assumed anything yet 🙂

Thank you!

its a V6 box. It is very slow in the menu. It takes several clicks on the remote to move down the lists.  I have put new batteries in the remote and done a full system reboot including deleting everything. It is a little quicker than it was, but after about 4 clicks it then starts to need multiple clicks again.

Hi Bryn,

It's unlikely, but perhaps the remote needs pairing again. remote issues 

Have you tried using the TV Control app ?  That can work as a replacement remote, and also help determine if it's a remote or box issue.
