Re: ITV2 pixellating

Hi @Reece_MH,

Just curious to see what / if this issue got fixed.  It seems quite common and I’m having the same issue myself, so would be interested in the resolution.

Thanks.

Better to start a new thread for individual issues

Pixellated pictures on live TV are often the sign of a signal fault. If you've rebooted your box once, then there's likely a fault somewhere, so this will need VM to intervene. You're likely to need either an engineer visit or a replacement box, depending on what VM's remote diagnostics turn up.

First check the automated faults line for any existing issues in your area that could be the cause: 0800 5610061. If nothing's reported, assume VM don't know about your fault and ideally you'll need to call them.

150 from a VM phone, 0345 4541111 from any other phone - choose the options for "I have a fault with my TV service". Alternatively you can wait on here for staff to respond, which may take a day or so

Hi, mattanorak.
Thanks for posting on our help forums and sorry to hear you've been having issues with ITV2 picture quality over your TV box, recently.

These broadcasting issues are likely to have been caused by an outage/fault in your local network as japitts above has explained.
You may check for known faults here or by calling the above automated line, if nothing shows our online TV diagnostics can be found on this link.

We do hope this issue has cleared since your last post however please do pop back to us if you need more help.
Best regards,

Hi @Adri_G,

I had an SMS to say that it should be fixed by today and that it wasn't an end user issue, but more of an external issue.
