Problems with Tivo box

For the last few days I have been experiencing problems with my Tivo box.

When changing channels or accessing the TV Guide, the Home Page or My shows it is taking a long time to make the requested change. Initially it was a relatively short time (but longer than usual) but the time taken has gradually been taking longer - until this evening it could be measured in minutes and now it won't make any changes (so now I'm stuck on the last channel I was watching !).

This evening I've also been experiencing the picture breaking up or freezing. 

I'm certain it isn't the remote control as I've changed the batteries (just in case) and the green light on the box does flash when I press any of the remote keys.

The slowness is normal for a TiVo box, rebooting may help slightly in the short term. The only real fix is to upgrade to the V6 if possible.

As for the pixelation, read the red post at the top of the forum.

Thank you for your reply - I have had to reset my box twice; after the first reset the speed problem seemed to be solved but then green online LED light kept flashing (!!) so did a second reset which seems to have solved the problem
