Playing back recorded programmes

Whenever we play back any recorded programme the picture is pixilated and distorted and the sound is distorted.

Normal tv is fine to watch.

Can anyone help?

Given live TV is fine, try pausing a programme and watching slightly delayed. This is also a recording and uses your TiVo's hard drive.

If - as I suspect - your hard drive has a fault, this will also be a problem and you will need a tech visit to replace your box.

If that happens, your TiVo will be replaced with a V6 which runs the same SW but on a much newer & quicker box. Only difference is the V6 needs VM home broadband to work.
