Pixellation

I live in ML6 area and have been having issues with live pause and recordings. In these situations the screen becomes pixelated and freezes, I am able to watch live tv with no issues. 

Has anyone got any advice? I have checked all connections and completed the check through virgin website which says there should be no problems.

If your live TV is unaffected, then you probably have the early signs of a hard drive failing - which will only get progressively worse and eventually become terminal.

I suggest calling Virgin to report your fault. 150 from a VM landline or 0345 4541111 from any other phone. Follow the options for "I have a fault with my TV service", and the agent should arrange a replacement box for you.

We only got the box in April/May, can it really have failed so quickly?
