Pixelated picture mainly on recorded programs

Picture is distorting ( breaking into colourful blocks) and affects the sound, seems to be worse on programmes that have been recorded but is ok when watching dvd so its not my tv. I have rebooted, checked all connections and done all updates to no effect. I have a tivo box.

Re: Pixelated picture mainly on recorded programs

Pixellated pictures on live TV are often the sign of a signal fault - reboot the box once to eliminate that, if it persists you'll likely need to report it to VM for them to intervene.

If live TV is ok, try pausing a live channel for 30 seconds and check - paused & delayed TV uses the hard drive the same as recorded programmes and would be similarly affected by a problem there.

Re: Pixelated picture mainly on recorded programs

Good afternoon @michaelhills63

Welcome to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post.

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with pixilation.

After trying the above recommendation, are you able to let me know how things are looking?  Have there been any improvements?

Kind regards,

Zak_M
