Pixallation

For the last few weeks we have had all the channels pixalating and jumping. We have 2 Tivo boxes upstairs and an older box downstairs and they are all having the same problem. It is now so bad we can't watch TV or record programmes because of the pixalating.

We did call a few days ago and we tried changing the settings, cables, reboots and nothing worked. We were told it might be a software problem and our boxes would be watched for 48 hours and hopefully be fixed but if anything it has gotten worse.

We don't know what else to do now as we have tried everything.

Re: Pixallation

It’s almost certainly a problem with the signal levels reaching your home which requires a visit to fix.

Phone back and insist on a visit. The problem is very unlikely to correct itself.

Re: Pixallation

we had the same for several months but just on one of our boxes - problem was it was intermittent so when we called and spent the usual half hour on the phone, it then didn't happen after resetting the box. This time it was so we have just received a replacement box - haven't installed it yet as not happy I can't transfer previous recordings (including ones showing the pixellation issue, in the event we had to call and engineer out!)
