Pixalation in WF10 West Yorkshire

Weve had pixelation problems for months, several channels. Slowly getting worse. Weve now lost Sky Sports so paying for channels we can't use. Weve had an engineer out he can't help. Back to square one. Does anyone know when this issue will be fixed?

Re: Pixalation in WF10 West Yorkshire

Having an engineer attend is absolutely the right thing to do with most pixellation faults, so when you say they couldn't help.... the obvious question is..... why not?

The issue will be fixed when the underlying fault is fixed, and that'll likely be when an engineer identifies the faulty bit of kit!

Re: Pixalation in WF10 West Yorkshire

Thank you for your reply. The engineer said he couldn't help and said it would be passed to another department but we've not heard anything since!

Possibly proved the fault beyond the cabinet and onto "networks".

Call back in either case, and worth a mention to the agent.

Had another engineer out. He couldn't understand why the first engineer couldn't fix it. He said it was aged cables, all sorted 🙂

Re: Pixalation in WF10 West Yorkshire

Hi Chrissy101, sorry for the delayed response - and initial bad experience with the engineer. I'm happy to hear the follow-up visit was more successful.

Hopefully you won't encounter any more problems but if you do please don't hesitate to get back in touch.

Re: Pixalation in WF10 West Yorkshire

Hi Tom

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately the fix didn't last long. We've had to have another engineer out. Apparently we need all external connectors replacing. Estimated fix date 12th November. Hopefully someone will come out.

Re: Pixalation in WF10 West Yorkshire

Hi Chrissy101,

Just checking in as today is the 12th November.

I've had a look and things still don't seem to be looking good, did we come out to you recently?

Let me know so we can get another engineer booked if needed.

Emma, thank you for replying. The channels are still pixelated so no it's not fixed. I've had three engineers out. Can you help?
