On demand services

Unable to watch any virgin on demand services.  All other apps including NowTV and Netlfix work.  When I select a film to watch it shows the advert tHen the screen goes blank showing error code 604.  This has been on going for three weeks and I am getting no where. Have unplugged & reset every device. HELP

Have you tried following the advice on https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-tv-error-codes/604 ?

Just to check, do you have a TiVo or a V6 box?

If it's a V6 do you also have 4k kit and if so what's the make, model and HDMI port the box is connected to?

Hi, I have a TiVo box, the HDMI is connected through a Samsung connect one box. I have changed cables and Portsoy still doesn't work.

Hi, yes I have several times and also spoke with customer support and still awaiting a phone call back from last Saturday/Sunday

Make sure you have the box connected to the HDMI port that's labelled "MHL" on the Samsung One Connect, then reboot the box.

If you still have the problem after that, please let us know if you also have an amplifier or soundbar connected.

Hi NPP, you are amazing this has worked. I am so puzzled as to why it stopped working as no one else has touched the ports as they  are hard to access.

The latest update to the V6 boxes has enabled HDCP 2.2 for On Demand when set to 4k, so needs the boxes to connect to an HDMI input that supports that.
