No signal to tv from tivo box.

Hello,

I have lost the signal/picture to my tv from my tivo box. I have checked the connections, tried a different hdmi connecter, reset the tivo box but to no avail. The green lights are on at the front. I can't get through to any one at a call centre and the online test is not working at the moment either. Think the box may have had it. Anyone from virgin able to help?

Hi

Are the lights on the box the same as they normally are? 

Have you tried turning you TV set off/on as well the TiVo box?

Hi, yes the lights are the same as usual. The tv has been turned off numerous times as has the box. I have a blu-ray player connected to my tv and it detects that but not the tivo box. Was working yesterday but now all i'm getting is the tv saying that there is no signal.

Hi it sounds like you need to select the right input setting on your TV, use the TV remote and select the HDMI port the tivo is plugged into hdmi 1, 2 or 3. Regards Micky

Service status now says this. -

We know of an issue in your area
 
You may find that 838 and 839 is unavailable at this time. We are sorry about this, our engineers are looking at fixing this as soon as possible.
 

Our engineer is working to fix the problem.

Wht the hell does 838 and 839 mean!

I have the same problem and my service status has just change to the same as yours. Just spoken with them and they are saying the box is not working so sending a replacement which should be with me on Friday
