Network availability C133 and N17 errors

I've recently purchased a new Netgear Nighthawk R7000 router.

My Superhub 3 is configured in modem mode and all works well - except for the above Tivo connection errors.

Tivo now connects via ethernet cable to my new router rather than the Superhub 3, other than that nothing has changed.

I've made several attempts to fix the problem but I just end up going round in circles.

A search of the Help Forum tends to suggest that my problem is not uncommon.

I'd be grateful to hear from anyone who has found a solution.

Re: Network availability C133 and N17 errors

Both of these errors (as per https://www.virginmedia.com/help/virgin-tv-error-codes ) are connectivity related.

Although VM can't offer any official support for you using your own router, there is nothing inherent about it that means the V6 shouldn't work - although you're at the mercy of your router. Many on here, myself included, connect our V6 via our own router and SH in modem mode - and the V6 works perfectly well.

I suspect you unwittingly have some ports blocked, that's the usual cause.

I found the list of  ports that need to be open. Thanks.

Just need to work out how to set them in a Nighthawk R7000.

I'm not sure the list has ever been documented anywhere, except on an obscure section of TiVo US' website, so well done finding one.
