My tivo box

I have a modem next to my t.v and all the plugs are inserted except the top one;  there is a white cable (ethernet) coiled up under the telly - should this be inserted into the top of the modem.  I want to watch Planet Knowledge on my Freeview Player - would it help if this cable was inserted into the modem?  I keep getting the message on the t.v. to make sure it is connected to the internet, which it is!

Re: My tivo box

An Ethernet cable can be used to link a device to your modem/router, yes.

But that's nothing to do with your Virgin TiVo box?..
