I purchase movies on GooglePlay to play through the youtube app on My Virgin TiVo box. However they are all now heavily pixelated and unwatchable. The work fine online on the youtube app it’s only on the TiVo box they are pixelated. Normal videos are fine, it’s just my purchased movies, but still I payed for them to watch them! Please help
I arrived here as I am having the same issue, having just purchased a YouTube video.
I was very surprised to hear that Virgin Media does not support the playback of purchased YouTube videos, especially when it's a relatively simple process to cast my YouTube videos from my phone or tablet. It seems that Virgin Media is simply directing its customers to another service, something that I can see as only having a negative business impact.
Are you able to say whether this situation is caused by technical or licensing issues?
