As per TV Error codes help this is normally caused by your box not having connected to VM for 30days - have you switched it off at the mains?
Do you have a TiVo or a V6? If you're not sure, check here - the difference being, the V6 relies on a connection to your homehub to connect to the VM serverds, the TiVo has this connection hardwired internally.
If you have a TiVo, you may be able to resolve this error by following Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Network, and then "Connect to Virgin Media now"< assuming your live TV works ok.
If you have a V6, how is it connected to your homehub? Ethernet is recommended, WiFi can sometimes be problematic.
