Live tv distorted -menu/recordings ok

This morning my live tv picture and sound has become distorted. Virgin menu and recorded programs  all fine. 

I have check input cables and seem ok. Tried everything and spoke to virgin but no engineer until Monday and want to watch live sport this weekend. 

all suggestions welcome.

Is this on all channels or just particular ones?

Do OnDemand programmes play ok? Have you tried restarting your TiVo via Home > Help & Settings > Clear or restart?

Although it's not the same, you could use the VM TV Go app as a temporary measure.

It’s just on some channels. All completely random some HD, some non HD. I’ll try the reset.

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with your TV. 

 

As a few days have passed since your post. How are things looking since your post?  Has the live TV picture improved?
