Issues with recordings

All recordings and paused live tv are cracking and the volume cracks too. Can watch on Iplayer, 4OD etc with no issues 

Any advice?

Are you sure you have a TiVo and not a V6? https://www.virginmedia.com/care/tv-fault/which-tv-box 

It doesn't matter to the fault diagnosis, because you've described a hard drive fault which requires a tech visit and will likely end with a box replacement.

A V6 is replaced like-for-like, but a TiVo is now replaced with a V6 providing you have VM home broadband.

Hi Vicki,

Still having same issues, we can watch through apps, but all recordings and paused live TV don't work. 

Rebooted and still have the same issue.

Thanks for coming back to us. 

We're sorry to hear it's still happening. Have you tried either; 

  • A new HDMI lead
  • A new HDMI port in the TV? 
  • Resetting the box to factory default settings?
