Is Virgin keeping quiet to force a purchase?

I was searching using the Tivo for a programme  'The Goes Wrong Show'. Usually when I search it gives all available sources. In this case all the shows were shown as only available at the virgin store. Yet when I tried BBC iPlayer they are all available free. So is that not a little bit sneaky  that the Tivo 'hides' episodes available free and only shows that you can buy them from Virgin?

Re: Is Virgin keeping quiet to force a purchase?

Without checking for specifics..

When a program is available from multiple sources, the TiVo will always list the chargeable options at the top of the list and the free/inclusive ones below - that's the way it always has been, and is no surprise.

Separately, although the TiVo EPG should pick up on most VOD programs, I've a feeling the iPlayer boxsets may be an odd exception where the EPG doesn't list them and you need to navigate via the app to locate them.

Yes, I have noticed this too. I thought it was a little sneaky.
