I presume by "uploading channels", you're getting some kind of onscreen activation error? What message are you getting, specifically?
There's a menu option within the TV Care help section to send a hit to your box if you're missing channels that you should be getting, but I suspect yours could be a different error relating to box activation.
If it is, have you tried calling to get your box activated - even if it should have been done already? 0800 9539500 is an automated service but may be the next thing to try.
