Re: How do i get a bigger cable?

the cable used is coax cable . A technician would come round for a relocation and they will do it for you correctly a swiftly after an appointment is made

Fancy £50 off your bill? Ask me how and you might just get it!

Re: How do i get a bigger cable?

...then your mum should have been charged.

Imagine the cost to Virgin Media if everyone decided frequently to move their furniture around and expect this service for free.

Fault call-outs are free, non-fault call-outs are chargeable.

Re: How do i get a bigger cable?

Actually thats not just the reason!

I have a large 5 bedroom house, the WiFi signal is not very good including doesnt even connect in some of the rooms upstairs.. so I was thinking if I moved all my stuff to the otherside of my livingroom it would make a difference as it would be closer the the bedrooms given that my livingeoom is very large.

So yes I do not think I should be charged when I am paying for a service that myself or kids can't use.

'I do not think I should be charged when I am paying for a service that myself or kids can't use'

virgin are not going to keep coming out for nothing moving customer boxes/cables. some on here have requested boxes at the end of gardens in sheds and in a loft. time is money. 99 quid for what is an amendment to an initial installation is chargeable.

'How could I get £50 off?'

you have to refer a friend. but follow the way to do it to the letter or you won't get it.
