Green screen and self reboot TIVO box + box upgrade
My TiVO box has shown the 'green screen of death' where it says the DVR has serious hardware issues and is trying to repair itself and it will take 3 hours. After 3 hours the box came back to life only to have it restart itself constantly. I called up helpline they said will send engineer and replace box but got mixed messages about whether they will replace original or with new V6 box. I had an email from last year saying I am eligible for an upgrade but the helpline person was unhelpful when I told him the link does not work.
It is one of the most dissatisfying conversations I had with Virgin media and I am considering leaving.

We cannot guarantee that the box will be exchanged for a V6 for you upon the visit. This does depend on if the engineer has one available in the Van. If you do let the engineer know you would like one I'm sure they can check for you.
