Frozen tivo box recordings

For some time recordings would freeze in places or skip content. The tivo box now refuses to play recordings and freezes a few minutes into play, will not skip passed the freeze, recovers only to play the titles and yesterday was totally unresponsive and switched itself off to reset several time before I gave up!

Doesn't matter what channel, what show or what time. I've read that it could be a hard drive issue and the box needs replacing - how do I go about getting it changed please? Thanks x

All Virgin equipment is rented, so if it starts playing up call straight away. Customer Services can run diagnostics on the boxes remotely which will show up any issues.

If you have a Virgin Home Phone or Mobile call 150 for free & select faults (0345 454 1111 from all others at standard calling rates).
