Fed up with Pixellation

I'm about ready to cancel my Virgin Media services. Everyday I get awful pixellation on most channels. Ringing Virgin just has them doing a reset from their end but it soon resorts to bad reception. For the amount I pay I would expect better service. I'm tired of switching to Freeview to get a decent picture and switch the Tivo box off to try to resolve the problem.

No engineer, but the strange thing is, the problem seems to have been resolved following my post. So far, I haven't seen any pixellation in the last few days.

That's great to hear that the problem has been resolved David_46. The issue with the signal may have been resolved at the cabinet or the local hub, that's why there is no longer an issue.

 

Please let us know if you have any further issues with pixellation.

I have the same problem but only intermittent at the bottom of the screen 

mice got a TiVo box

Pixellation started again a few minutes ago. I've switched over to Freeview and will be looking for another provider.

I know it was asked earlier in the thread, but have you given Virgin a chance to fix it? You're paying for a service, after all. If they don't fix it if after trying, that's another story...
