Error code 7400

Hi people I got my extra TiVo box installed yesterday (8th August) and everything was set up perfectly but an error message came up on the screen (7400) the technician who installed it said this message would disappear after half an hour but it didn’t. PLEASE HELP

Hi Mark_1010,

It sounds like the box wasn't fully activated, or there's a problem on VM end.

You need to phone to get your box activated. 0800 953 9500.  You will need the serial number of the replacement box you received, plus your account and area number.

Unfortunately if this doesn't work you will need to speak to Faults. 

You could try the text messaging service.

Just send  a text with a description of TV Faults  to 07533 051809. Your message will go into a queue and a representative will respond to you as soon as possible. It may take a few days. 

You can also call  150 from your Virgin landline, or 0345 454 1111, options 1,1 and 2 (Faults) but best to call at 8am to avoid call queue
