My name service (TiVo box) was turned on yesterday and I have got the above error code. I’ve tried to reset the box and when I phoned the activation line it placed me on hold and then cut me off after being on hold for 60 minutes.
Can anyone please help me activate my new box as I can only access a few minor channels (none even in HD!).
As per the instructions on the error code, you need to call 0800 9539500. Quite often the automated service can process your activation without recourse to a C/S agent, but this is not always the case.
It sounds like you will need to try calling again I'm afraid.
