Converting a tivo box to wireless

I want to locate an older TiVo box to a bedroom location without direct ethernet cable access to the modem. Is there a way of converting the box to wireless mode such as by way of a dongle etc?

Re: Converting a tivo box to wireless

No, but you can buy yourself some powerlines and connect it by ethernet that way.

Re: Converting a tivo box to wireless

Thanks, that sound good. Can you just give me a few hints as to what they are, how they work,  and where to get them?

Best wishes and stay safe.

Re: Converting a tivo box to wireless

I assume the new location has a co-ax connection point as it’s needed and you want the Ethernet connection for MRS to a second box?
