Contract not what I agreed

So, I’m still pulling my hair out with VM! I managed to get through to the cancellations team today and spoke to Ellis! He kindly agreed to keep me on the same package for £63.50 a month for the next 18 months! Great, I thought! Although I spent most of the 46 minute call on hold, so was a bit dubious! I said at the end of the call, so it’s definitely only going to be 63.50 a month until the end of the 18 month agreement. He assured me that this was correct and I’d get an email confirming this. It took a couple of hours to receive the email and low and behold, the price only shows the agreed amount for six months and then goes up to £74 a month! I honestly think VM do this all the time as the same thing happened when I joined them a year ago! I’m trying to sort this out by text, but I’m clearly dealing with someone from overseas who is just telling me what I already know! I despair!

Calls are recorded so request the call as proof of what was discussed.
