Connecting LG tv to Tivo box

I have recently purchased a LG 43UM7500 PLA television replacing my old JVC CRT tv of 15 years old. Is it fairly straightforward to connect this new tv to the Virgin Tivo box. My old JVC used a scart lead to connect to the Tivo box and I understand these new HD televisions don't use these and have no corresponding connection port.

Re: Connecting LG tv to Tivo box

Yes. Use a good quality HDMI lead. SCART is analogue and out of date. HDMI is a digital connection and will enhance your viewing experience from a digital TV box to a great digital TV. We have an LG. It is spectacular. Enjoy. When you set up the LG TV you'll be given the option to select an HDMI input to use (you'll have up to three to chose from, chose the first) and away you go.

Re: Connecting LG tv to Tivo box

Should the TV switch itself to the V6 when switched on, as I'm having to use TV remote. Thanks.
