How can i book a technician for a call out

Hi SteveP19,

It would be better if you explain what your issues are with your TIVO as we may be able to help rather than you being stuck in a queue to the faults team and getting the automated replies to reboot the set top box and perform a series of tests etc.

Do you get any error messages?

Also have you looked at Check service status at the top of the page? You can also run a test on your equipment from there rather than doing it over the phone.

If nothing is showing  you could also try the  Service Status number  0800 561 0061.  This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.

As per newapollo - you don't "book a callout", but you can certainly report a fault via the usual means (150 from a VM phone, 0345 4541111 from any other phone).

Or if you describe the issues you're having, then we may well be able to save you the support call. No promises, but if we know what the problem is - you never know.

Virgin won't send an engineer unless you go through the motions of explaining what the problems are and what basic remedies you have tried.

Thanks for coming back to us. I am very sorry to hear that one of the boxes are not broadcasting iPlayer or On Demand content.

 

I've checked the system today and no issues are showing. The box in question, are you connected to the internet via Ethernet or wirelessly? Are you also getting any error messages?
