Book an Engineer

We have been doing some work in the house and the connection to one of the Tivo boxes has been moved, resulting in the cable being cut. I have the bits to connect to the box but it doesn't look like it can be done easily without some sort of special tooling. How do I book an engineer to come and reconnect the box?

Re: Book an Engineer

Just buy Coaxile from Amazon or IKEA. It'll be cheaper and saves an engineer visit

As long as you're confident in your ability to not induce noise into the cabling and potentially affect the local network.

Re: Book an Engineer

I have the cable, it's installed through the wall, but is not longer connected to the fitting which is needed to connect it to the back of the TIVO box. This looks like a specialist connection, and doesn't appear to unscrew, hence my asking if an engineer is the best bet - I have a good electrician who can do the same if needed.
