Bad pixellation and no tv guide

Hello,

I have been having bad pixellation and no tv guide for a while on my old tivo box. I also have a V6 which is working fine. I have checked all the connections and run the remote test on the tivo box and it said connection error.  My area ref is 30 and any help would be much appreciated. I would rather not have a technician call as we are shielding. Thanks in advance.

Hi Micky

Thanks for the reply. I have tried that but cannot get a connection to the network.

Re: Bad pixellation and no tv guide

On the front-left of your TiVo there should be 3 green lights.

1: Power, 2: Online, 3: Remote input sensed.

Is the online light, like a heart symbol, on?

The first green light is on, the second is flashing.

Re: Bad pixellation and no tv guide

There's your problem. That needs an engineer attendance - either your box is bust or there's a cabling fault between it and the street cabinet.

Re: Bad pixellation and no tv guide

Hi MM3,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the community forums. Sorry to hear that you are having TV issues with your TiVo. @japitts would be correct that it may be due to the box not connecting to the network and the flashing 2nd light seems to indicate this. I've tried some remote diagnostics and unable to connect to the box, so this will need an engineer.

Cheers,

Corey C

Re: Bad pixellation and no tv guide

Thanks for the replies. It is an old box and it has only started playing up recently. So I will have to try and phone to book engineer then I take it? Thanks again.
