BBC iplayer feezing then box reboots

Hi, my tivo box keeps freezing while watching bbc iplayer, it eventually reboots but keeps happening. I had other issues watching paused live tv, where that was also freezing until I fast forwarded. I saw a similar post suggesting it's the box, do I need a new one?

No TV box should reboot as regularly as you describe, and your issues with paused TV sound like a hard drive fault.

Providing you have VM home broadband, faulty TiVo's are now replaced with V6. Same software, but much newer and quicker.
