Access media on home NAS via Virgin TiVo box?

I have a home media NAS with DLNA enabled - anyone know if I can access this media through the TiVo TV box?

The box is ethernet wired into my router, as is the NAS. I have a Chromecast and can cast some content via VLC on my android device but some video requires on-the-fly transcoding, which isn't great as it stutters and buffers.

The short answer is no.

TiVo's have an inbuilt modem for internet connectivity, the Ethernet cable connection is only used for in-home multiroom streaming between TiVo & other V6 boxes - and to allow remote connectivity to the TV Control app.
