The box upstairs has some hd channels scrambled tried switching off and on
the one downstairs is okay
Pixellated pictures on live TV are often the sign of a signal fault. If you've rebooted your box once, then there's likely a fault somewhere.
If only one box in your home is affected, then try swapping them around. This will prove whether the box has an issue, or your internal cabling is faulty somewhere.
You'll then need to call Virgin to report your fault - 150 from a VM phone, 0345 4541111 from any other phone - choose the options for "I have a fault with my TV service"
