I have been Ddso while playing on my xbox

Playing in a group tonight and was told by another player that they would disconnect my internet for a week! They have Ddso me and home internet is now not working . I’ve been able to get it back on again once but it has gone back off. Should I contact Microsoft to complain about this individual or virgin?

Re: I have been Ddso while playing on my xbox

Hello

I take it you mean DDOS then the first point of call would be Microsoft, what Virgin may do for you is too would be to get you a different IP address for your router/hub but too be aware even once that is done they could do the same again.

Re: I have been Ddso while playing on my xbox

vm can't change the ip address. the only way to change it is to change the hub, change to modem mode or use your own router in modem mode

BEWARE OF SCAMMERS SAYING THEY WORK FOR VM. Do not give any personal or account information over unless the person has the VM Logo next to their username.

A DDoS attack, which bombards servers with spurious traffic

Why should the "first point of call be Microsoft"?

What exactly would Microsoft be able to do?

Why would Microsoft be engaged/care at all?
