Control devices

Hi is it possible to turn off individual devices at set times. I am having trouble with my teenager and thought if I could do it this way there would be less arguments. Thank you.

Re: Control devices

Hello Ali72,

Welcome to the community forums!

If you have a Hub 3.0 you can log into the hub settings via the details on the bottom of the hub, once you do you are able to pause a device from accessing WiFi.

Thanks Joe_F

Re: Control devices

thanks for your reply. What I would like to do is set up time limits rather than have the faff of having to go into my account and pause it

Re: Control devices

Hello Ali72

I am afraid that is not something we can currently offer, I will pass this feedback on though 🙂

Thanks Joe_F

Re: Control devices

If they are android devices I recommend Family Link app.

Also if you have a Nintendo Switch there is a Switch control/parent app.

Re: Control devices

You can buy an after market router, my mesh wifi allow you to restrict indicual devices to allow the internet between specific hours or a 'time cap' per day so they can't use more than x hours of internet for example.

It also keeps a log of most visited websites which you can easily block - all this is done via the mobile app.

Re: Control devices

This sounds like an option it mainly Xbox and iPads. I am very, very limited in my IT knowledge so it has to be pretty simplistic for me to understand

Re: Control devices

I can recommend the tp link m4 - m9 range.

Super easy to set up, great WiFi coverage and speed, ethernet connectivity also, easy to use app to restrict access.
