website filtering

I am new to vm can anyone tell me if vm filter website content? I was trying to use a vpn site and when I click on the results from bing search a message comes up with vm's logo saying sorry the webpage you have requested is not available through virginmedia. Can this be switched off? I don't want to have my search results filted by vm

Re: website filtering

Hello

Yes there is something called virus safe and child safe that will be turned on by default you can turn off yourself by logging into https://my.virginmedia.com/my-apps/onlinesecurity/websafe/settings here you can turn off the child / virus safe. It will be the child safe that is stopping you.

Re: website filtering

Virgin Media are required by Court Order to block certain websites.  Perhaps this is the issue you are coming up against.  See this help page:
