Hmm, still not 100% confident if this is running as it should.

most of the time it seems okay, I watched a UHD film on Rakuken (app on the the Tv) play okay most of the time but did stop and buffered around halfway through.

all running via Ethernet to hub

Your downstream speed should be well able to cope with streaming. What speeds do you get with a wired connection using speedtest.net?

Wireless test on my phone was 107mb just now. Will run a wired speed test tomorrow.

Seems fine most of the time but just get the occasional oddity now was streaming 4K.

will continue to keep an eye on

Wired speed test using the Xbox one x shows 110MB so should be plenty

could having only 2 channels cause a sudden intermittent drop?

Doubt it, a lot of streaming problems have nothing to do with your ISP. See if there is a Rakuten forum for information on this.

Just wanted to see if a tech could update me on this. I was told that a tech would run a full health check after lockdown to see why we only have 2 channels but the 2 contacts that I had dealt with previous are now unable to accept PM

still don’t think my internet is as it should be, is it normal when streaming HD content that the first 10 seconds looks like its SD then it switches to HD? This happens via TV apps and Xbox apps
