I have some Wi-fi boosters as part of my setup. They worked perfectly for about two years until recently when the one attached to the router keeps flashing red.
I have tried a number of things.
Checked all the cables
Reinstalled as per the instructions
factory reset and then reinstall
What happens is that they then work sometimes again for a few days before the red light appears. Often I can just turn them on and off at the wall for 10mins or so and they work again for a short while
anyone else had this fault and any suggestions on how to repair?
The booster flashing red light usually means it's lost connection and needs pairing again. Is the white light solid when this happens? If so try the following
Press the Sync button on the side of the Booster connected to your Hub for 3 seconds. The connection light will flash rapidly.
Within 2 minutes press the Sync button on the additional Booster for 3 seconds. The connection light will also flash rapidly. When the connection lights stop flashing your booster lights are paired again. This can take 2 or 3 minutes.
The following shows what the power lights mean.
