Why the massive footers?

There are so many posts with footers that are pictures, can I switch them off.. Spoils a nice thread having a load of pointless ping-monitor shots and equipment lists.. At least can I change them to hedgehogs or kittens or drying paint?
Just a thought, @mods, a "no footers" profile setting?

Nice idea. They could be concealed in a "spoiler" type wrapper for the really keen to reveal.

Consider using an add-on / extension to hid the user signature, for example uBlock: uBlock Origin with a filter rule of:

community.virginmedia.com##.lia-message-signature.UserSignature

If that is too drastic then maybe just those thinkbroadband monitoring quality share images:

||www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality/share/thumb/*.png$image

Bang on, cheers 用心棒!!.. No extensions going on here until I can write my own... Just the thinkBroadband was a good clue though, nice one!!
