Well that was fun...windows 11

So I see windows 11 released today and my DNS server was...err compatible...so I installed it tried to use RDP into my server and nothing OK I hook up a a monitor and keyboard its at the log in so I log in. The setup does some stuff then I'm at the desktop and great they hide the view for networks but I found it my VLAN have gone! So I open up Intel(R) PROSet Adapter Configuration Utility and added them back in BUT the dame things will not enable. I then search about this problem and sure enough it was reported.

https://community.intel.com/t5/Ethernet-Products/Creating-Vlans-with-the-ProSet-utility-in-windows-1...

Thanks for the heads up MS when installing windows 11...😠

But Intel say they are going to support VLANs in win 11..

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000087483/ethernet-products.html

But say “Microsoft Windows 10 is the final Microsoft Windows Operating System to support Intel PROSet and Intel ANS.” so hope its not final...

Re: Well that was fun...windows 11

So I'm back to win 11 on my server after finding how to use HyperV as Intel will not be supporting VLAN by Intel(R) PROSet Adapter Configuration Utility for win 11.
