Subliminal. Khorus at bottom of screen

Has anyone else noticed the subliminal notice at the bottom of the screen when selecting threads

it has become a distraction of late with it popping up frequently🤔

Powered by Khorus.jpg

It only shows for a split second, I had to video it and then select a frame from the video to post🤳

Here's the video in real time

Re: Subliminal. Khorus at bottom of screen

A known issue already under investigation as far as I know.  Well done for capturing the screen shot.

Re: Subliminal. Khorus at bottom of screen

Thanks @Buffer6 for the video & screenshot, those are massively helpful.

We had some optimisations delivered a week or so again, aimed at reducing load times of pages. I think this resizing might be related to that, you'd normally not see it happen as it would've resized by the time you got to the bottom of the page, but it could be the way the content is being loaded. I've passed your evidence over to Khoros for investigation.

Re: Subliminal. Khorus at bottom of screen

I've noticed this as well using new Edge, although I'm not too bothered about it.

If you use paste on the "What are you watching now thread" instead of paste as plain text option, the text is huge and a wobbler is thrown when the preview option is used.  Exiting preview fixes it.

I'm seeing this on my Chromebook, so this isn't OS or browser specific.

The solution to this is rather simple; I've just worked it out now and it's really rather obvious when a little thought is applied.  When you paste the video into the text box (the formatting options don't actually do anything to posts when they're finally submitted) the cursor ends up being huge, justified to the right edge of the embed.   If you paste text with the huge cursor, funnily enough, it comes out huge.  Oddly enough, if you just type text normally, it doesn't appear enlarged.

Re: Subliminal. Khorus at bottom of screen

Hi all,

We had an update last week and the resizing was one of the bugs listed as being fixed.

Just wondering if anybody has still seen the resizing behaviour? Personally I haven't seen it since the update but I tend to open new tabs for new pages and let them load, so I don't always see the pages as they're loading.

Re: Subliminal. Khorus at bottom of screen

Hi Kev_B,

I've seen it a few times this morning. Will try and grab a screen shot next time, however it's so fast I might be too slow.

EDIT - Just happened another twice, once on the Virgin TV V6 forum and also on the Virgin TV forum.

It's the Helping kids stay safe online picture, What is digital resilience, at the right hand side top of the screen.
