Hi, so ive literally just been set up on Virgin internet. No issues with that.
Im after some help with setting up the little streaming box thing on my laptop.
It's all plugged in and connected (the remote is linked) but how the heck do i actually watch a show. IS there a website, do i need an app downloaded? The HDMI is connected to my laptop but now what?
No instructions were included so im somewhat confused.
Thanks (technophobe here)

What Streaming box thing?
Do you mean you have broadband with VM and also the https://www.virginmedia.com/tv/stream box which provides TV over the internet?
If so then the HDMI cable needs connecting to your TV, not the laptop, Then change the source (HDMI port) on the TV to the port the Stream box is connected to.
Here's a video showing how to set up the Stream box https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wCl45hANLzE
If you are also wanting to watch TV channels on your laptop and have a TV subscription or the Stream box with VM then you need to register and sign into TVGo.
There are links on the following page to download the TVGo app for android and ios devices.

On a PC you need to access TVGo via browser
