Power line and wifi

Just upgrade to Virgin oomph

i already had the 2 x netgear powelines installed, one downstairs one upstairs.

however WiFi was weak in some areas of the house.

Virgin engineer yesterday installed two WiFi boosters one up one down again, in fact next to the Netgear kit.

but surely the new ones should do both and render the netgear ones redundant.

Re: Power line and wifi

Boosters really are a "poor" solution to fixing wifi issues. Have you considered ditching the boosters and the Hub's wifi and getting your own wireless equipment suitable for your property size, construction, layout?

Particularly if the boosters weren't free and you are paying rental charges.
