Pedometer

I put a pedometer app on my Huawei Y6 2019 but it stops counting steps and frequently turns itself off.

I had the same app on my Samsung J3 with no problems.

Any ideas?

Hi Dee131,

Thank you for your post.

Is the app updated with the latest update?

Re: Pedometer

Have you tried uninstall and reinstalled the app to check if that helps?

Re: Pedometer

Yep ... no change.
I was also advised to wipe the cache partition, by pressing power and volume up at the same time and going into the recovery menu.
I tried this several times, but the phone didn't go into the recovery menu.
I'm now starting to wonder if there's a fault on the phone.

Re: Pedometer

Do you know what operating system version the phone is on?

Re: Pedometer

I also managed to get into the recovery menu and wiped the cache partition, but it still hasn't changed anything.

Is that the most up to date version?
