I have a 3 year old box that takes over 6 mins to start up and when changing through options it’s very slow moving. my WiFi range is terrible cannot get access all around house. I have spoken to vm past who have claimed it’s ok. But cannot get access to WiFi in my bedroom or kitchen. I am finding myself using my own 4G
I pay 50 quid a month combined for services, the least I would expect is to be able to get WiFi all around my house...
they have checked it in past. I am not confusing it??

Virgin & most other providers job is to get high speed internet to the box in your house. As far as WiFi is concerned, the way your house is built, what insulation is used, the appliances you use, the pipe work, not to mention congestion from neighbours hubs are all factors Virgin has no control over. Professional WiFi kit is expensive. Why should Virgin inflate their prices even more investing in kit that a lot of people just don’t need. There are WiFi boosters available (& something else in the pipeline which I cannot mention yet) which may improve the situation for those with problems like yours.
