Moving v6 and internet box

I cannot get an engineer out to lay new tv cable to an extension I have had built. Can virgin send me V6 and internet cable so this can be laid within walls/ floor ready for an engineer to fit once a call out can be booked?

Re: Moving v6 and internet box

Hi Harley67.

I'm sorry to say VM won't send out cables.

VM also aren't installing any extra TV boxes to minimise technicians’ time in customers’ homes

You will need to wait until restrictions are lifted further and then book an engineer.

A few forum posters have indicated they've been told it will be May.

You can keep up to date with any changes via the coronavirus-update  page.

Best option would be to install trunking within the walls/floor with a pull string so that the engineer can pull the cable through the trunking.
