Moving house

Good morning.

I’ve been trying via chat to tell you that we’re moving house and to see if you can install broadband in our new house which is unoccupied. I keep getting cut off and can’t get back to the chats I’ve started. Can anyone help me please?

Due to the current situation there is a text message only service is available via: 07533051809 Just send a text with the issue you are facing and someone will get back to you as soon as they can.

Hi,

I have been trying the text service since Thursday, for 3 days.

Go though security checks, several intermediaries and eventually told being transferred to moving house team.

That is the last I hear of them - nothing happens and the whole process starts all over again.

Surely it would be better for all for them to text an email contact address where I am able to give all the details in one go.

VM have no public-facing email addresses. For companies that large email doesn't;t work

Not suggesting large public facing email addresses. Just an email link given out once you have passed the security questions so that you can give all the house move details in one go. In 3 days by text I have been able to communicate my moving date and new address to two different teams but have no idea of what equipment is needed or what is possible or when or even if the move will be actioned.

The ineffective and hugely inefficient method VM are currently using certainly does not work for me or VM.

None of which actually helps to solve my moving house problem.

try calling them instead then.
you can then either process the house move, or cancel if you still them not suitable to your communication needs.

They have closed access to their home moving team by phone.

The website "Contact Us" is unmanned.

All that is left is a text messaging system which does not work.

What good will just cancelling achieve? - I am happy with the media service they provide and their help service was previously also top notch.

well you said the methods they use don't work for you, therefore it would be silly to stay with a company that does stuff that doesn't work for you.

however, the moving team are contactable via phone, maybe just not during the hours you are trying.

The moving team by phone is completely closed.

It gives a message stating that.
