Add to that I received an email from them last week saying:
"We’ve been busy upgrading our Intelligent WiFi tech to give you our most reliable WiFi experience with your Hub 3.
The good news is this new-and-improved WiFi is now live in your home, at no extra cost."
I finally switched my hub to modem mode the other month and invested in a decent WiFi router for my house, having got so frustrated with the (lack of) quality of VM's WiFi. Their upgrade had better be at no extra cost - I didn't ask for it and spent money avoiding having to use their existing one. I don't suppose the "upgrade" has made the range any better anyway.
