I have cut through my VM cable in front garden

I today Sat 20th June 20 accidentally cut through my VM cable so have no service at all. What advice can anyone give me? Will I have to wait weeks to have my service repaired? Will it cost me a small fortune also?

Please can anyone help

Re: I have cut through my VM cable in front garden

The repair should be free. (technically its chargeable) but accident happen and VM don;t normally charge for the repair.

You have 2 options.
1) try and call in and report it
2) wait for VM staff to get to the post and they will PM you for details and book a engineer to repair it.

You shouldn't have to wait weeks but may not get it fixed before next week.
If you need internet for work do you have a mobile you can rather to

Re: I have cut through my VM cable in front garden

Hello there @welchieboy

Welcome to our Community and thanks so much for your first post - I am sorry that you managed to cut through our cables over the weekend and have lost service.

I have been able to locate your account and I can see that a technician has already been booked for this issues; if you log into your online account you can check the time and date and even reschedule it if you need to.

Keep us posted on how things go - cheers
