As you may be aware, Virgin Media have had issues with their emails over the last month, which they have now fixed. Unfortunately on getting my Virgin Media mail back on my phone a message kept popping up regarding credentials needed for my email address, I kept putting in my VM password but it did not accept it, nor did it accept the old VM password.
My phone is from Vodaphone, went to see them about my VM mail, they played about with my phone, they also looked on their own phone, then I was told that VM emails have been stopped from working on mobiles and I could only look at VM emails on my own computer. I got my phone back to find that he had wiped my virgin emails off my phone completely.
1. Did he tell me a load of crap?
2. If you can still put VM emails on your phone, how do I put them back on my phone?
Thanks Kathy

VM have recently changed the log in requirements for accessing VM Mail via third party apps.
If you change the password for the account in My Virgin Media > Account settings > Account details you will not be able to use the new password to access the account via an email client. Email client access now requires an app specific password which can be generated in the MyVM > Account Settings > Account details > Mailbox App password management
I'm a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share knowledge, I don't work for Virgin Media, I'm a VM customer. There are no guarantees that my advice will work. Please read the FAQs
